As we look forward to Dr. Davis joining the team later this month, we thought we would continue our effort to make sure you get to know him before you start seeing his face around the office.
Last week you go to listen to an awesome super serious interview with Dr. Davis as he answered some of life’s most important, and most pressing questions (seriously, go watch it!! ;-D) We thought we would jump into a few other questions we had for him in an email interview we conducted earlier this month.
Check it out!
1. What restaurant are you most looking forward to eating at after returning to Northwest Arkansas?
Oh man, for me, that’s easy! I’m a meat and potatoes guy, so I’m looking forward to a good steak from Doe’s!! It’s hard to go wrong with Doe’s. Although, I do hear there are some amazing new restaurants in Rogers and Bentonville. I’m going to have to get some recommendations from all of you!
2. Even though you’ve lived in Alabama and Louisiana, are you still a Hogs fan?!
Despite spending so much time in ‘Enemy Territory’, I’ve remained a loyal Arkansas fan. My wife and I are looking forward to taking our daughter to her first Razorback game! We’re ready to call those Hogs!
3. Are you excited about joining the Smith and Davis Orthodontics team?
I am very excited to be joining a truly special orthodontic team! They are committed to providing the utmost in orthodontic treatment and the best overall experience possible for patients. I am honored to be part of the team and look forward to getting to know every patient and family in the practice.
4. Is your family excited you are coming back to Arkansas?
We’ve been away from Northwest Arkansas for many years now, so we’re excited to be back home with family and friends. Our family is excited, too. So… my answer is “Yes!!”
5. What made you want to be an orthodontist in the first place?
I was drawn to Orthodontics because of the opportunity to be a positive impact in people’s lives. Not only do we get to improve people’s smiles, but we are able to develop great relationships with our patients throughout treatment. It’s very rewarding and I feel very blessed to be part of our profession. Also… bull riding seemed to be a non-starter 🙂
6. Lastly, and most importantly…Do you think you could beat Dr. Smith in a game of Ping Pong?
I feel like this is the most important questions anyone has ever asked me…and I think it’s also a possible setup. It’s been a long time since I’ve played ping pong, but the muscle memory is still there and I think I could take him. Maybe we’ll have to find out, right Dr. Smith?!
